Warming up the engine of 2009

Walao wei.................
Now it's the third week of 2009. Lalala... I was very the busy, very the noisy and very the crazy. Lol. But I really thank God that I'm still alive!! hahahaahhaha....
I had exams, hip hop classes, meetings, classes, bruises, aches, outings and different events. I can't believe how I managed to go through these 3 weeks which seemed sooooooooooo impossible to me. But I believe that it's by God's grace that I'm still here, being able to cope up with all these. Indeed it is a challenging way to start the year.
I've written a few resolutions, I might post them in my blog.

Anyways, just to encourage you peeps: Is there someone who is feeling weary in the spirit, busy serving only and not worshiping God in a right way? I felt that way for the past week. I am involved in a few ministries in church, as well as CF in college. Serving has become so part of me until I just can't recognise who I am in Christ. Sometimes, these can drive us away unknowingly from God. It is good to serve God, however, let not serving be the main thing in our life. We can be so numb and just follow instructions on what to do when we serve; we can just lose that salt in us by not focusing on our first love- Jesus Christ. So, I encourage those who are serving in church to not give up that love and hope in Christ. What I've learnt in camp: Serving without worshiping is idolatry. Let us not be too busy serving and forget our daily walk with God which is a vital thing. Let us not lose the confidence in Christ; let us not allow our passion for Christ to fade; but let us remember how much passion we had in Christ.

Hebrews 10:32-39
Remember those earlier days after you had received the light, when you stood your ground in a great contest in the face of suffering. Sometimes you were publicly exposed to insult and persecution; at other times you stood side by side with those who were so treated. You sympathized with those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, because you knew that you yourselves had better and lasting possessions.
So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. For in just a very little while,
"He who is coming will come and will not delay.
But my righteous one will live by faith.
And if he shrinks back,
I will not be pleased with him."
But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved.

I hope this will be a blessing to all. God bless.
